Food Allergy/Sensitivity Testing

It is estimated that 95% of the population suffer form food toxicities. Food toxicities may be a contributing factor to many of the chronic disease we see in healthcare today. One simple blood test can provide you with valuable information and drastically improve your overall health.

Hormone Testing

Hormonal imbalances may affect both men and women. Men may note a decline in sex drive or loss of lean body mass. Women may experience significant changes in their menstrual cycle associated with changes in mood, energy, sex drive and even hot flashes. There is no need to suffer with symptoms. Hormone testing is available and natural hormone therapies are available.
Heavy Metal Toxicity Testing

Acute toxic metal exposure is rare. More common is chronic, low level environmental exposure of toxic metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, uranium to name a few). Toxic metal have no useful physiological function in the body and may adversely affect all organ system leading to the dysfunction of multiple systems.

Toxic Blood Assessment

Looking beyond routine lab tests such as your cholesterol panel, we asses your blood for elements that either contribute to or indicate the presence of arterial inflammation. Such blood tests may include Homocysteine, C-Reactive Protein, Lipoprotein (a), Fibrinogen and Ferritin levels.

Adrenal Stress Index

Chronic stress, physical or mental/emotional, may lead to compromised adrenal gland function resulting in altered levels of stress hormones (cortisol, DHEA and adrenaline) in the body. Impaired adrenal rhythm can impact many body functions resulting in: low energy and fatigue, poor blood sugar regulation, weakened immune system, impaired tissue healing, impaired sleep quality and even chronic pain. The adrenal stress index evaluates the cyclical levels of cortisol and DHEA in the body.

Intracellular Nutrient and Fatty Acid Analysis

Research shows that 50% of people taking multivitamins may still be nutritionally deficient. Biochemical individually, absorption, chronic illness, aging and lifestyle can all dramatically impact our nutrient status. Conventional blood tests/serum testing does not reflect the level of micronutrients within the white blood cell or the red blood cell. Intracellular levels of micronutrients give a much more accurate picture.

Neurotransmitter Testing

The human nervous system is on of the most complex systems in nature. It is responsible for coordinating thousands of processes through its chemical messengers called neurotransmitters. Imbalanced neurotransmitter levels may lead to feelings of sadness or, depression, anxiety, fatigue, headaches and even behavioral problems. The proper balance between excitatory (epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine) and inhibitory (GABA, serotonin) neurotransmitters is important in maintaining optimal health.
