Dr. June Stevens NMD, graduated with Highest Honors and received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2004. She further enhanced her training by completing her family practice residency, with an emphasis in cardiology and women’s health, at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale Arizona. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Southern Maine. Dr. Stevens also continues to serve as a Commander in the United States Navy, having served during Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

related to Naturopathic Medicine. As an author, Dr. Stevens contributed to the cardiovascular health sections of the book, Prescription for Nutritional Healing 4th Ed. As a Naturopathic physician she blends 18 years of cardiovascular experience with Naturopathic Medicine and offers a unique perspective in that she has experience with both naturopathic and conventional treatments.
As an Associate Professor of Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe AZ, Dr. Stevens taught Cardiology, Clinical Laboratory Procedures, Clinical Nutrition and Physical Diagnoses. She also supervised 3rd and 4th year medical students in clinical practice at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale AZ. She also serves as a board member for the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association and is an honorary member of the American Heart Association’s Mended Hearts.
Dr. Stevens is Co-owner of Southwest Integrative Healthcare in Tucson AZ and is the founder and medical director of the Naturopathic Heart Institute of Tucson. In her private medical practice, she tends to focuses on cardiology and women’s health care. When formulating your personalized treatment plan she may utilizes such treatment modalities as: Acupuncture, Botanical Medicine/Herbs, Clinical Nutrition (Food Allergy Testing), Chelation Therapy, Detoxification Programs, Homeopathy, Injection Therapy, IV Therapy, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy, Physical Manipulation and if needed Prescription Medications.
